On Saturday 10th February, Melbourne band 2 Inch Tape will celebrate the vinyl release of their acclaimed album What I Need at the iconic Brunswick Ballroom.
This promises to be a truly grand performance with the core line up accompanied by strings, backing vocalists and a percussionist to ensure that the What I Need album can be delivered in all its layered beauty.
What I Need is 2 Inch Tape’s sixth album in only eight years. Driven by the desire to ensure that every new album reaches greater musical heights, What I Need is the pinnacle of the bands career thus far. The albums arc and the individual songs within display tremendous dynamic diversity from the subtleties of the nylon guitar and unguarded voices to the wild meanderings of lead guitar and strings, What I Need is a journey unique and free of expectation.
